Node.js in Shared Web Hosting
As Node.js is present on our advanced cloud hosting platform, you will be able to add it to your shared web hosting account and to use it for any web application that you have, regardless of which shared web hosting
package you have chosen during the subscription process. The Upgrades section in the Hepsia Control Panel, which comes bundled with all web hosting accounts, will allow you to select the number of instances that you would like to order – this is the number of the web applications that will use Node.js. A few minutes later, you can specify the path to the app, i.e. where the .js file will be located in your shared account, as well as to select the IP address to receive access to the file – a dedicated IP or the server’s shared one. In the new Node.js section that will appear in the Hepsia Control Panel, you can restart an instance or to delete it if you do not require it anymore. You will also be given access to the output code with just one click.
Node.js in Semi-dedicated Servers
You’ll be able to use Node.js for any real-time script-driven web application hosted in a semi-dedicated server
account, since the Node.js platform comes bundled with all our semi-dedicated hosting plans and you can order it with just several clicks of the mouse. In case you wish to use it for multiple websites, you can create more instances through the Hepsia Control Panel’s Upgrades section. The configuration is as easy as specifying the location of your .js file and choosing if the Node.js platform should use a dedicated IP or any of the physical server’s shared ones, so you can use Node.js even if you don’t have any previous experience with similar software. Our system will also select a random port that will be used to access the .js file for the given app. Hepsia has an easy to work with GUI that will permit you to restart and to cancel any of your existing instances, to create new ones or to view the output of your applications with just a click.
Node.js in VPS Servers
All VPS servers
that are ordered with our in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel come with Node.js by default and you can take advantage of the platform for each script-based web app that you run on the Virtual Private Server. Since we have not imposed a limitation on the amount of instances that you can create, you can use the power of our VPSs and combine it with the full potential of the Node.js platform. The configuration is done via the Hepsia Control Panel’s easy-to-use, point ‘n’ click GUI, so even if you are not technically proficient, you will not have to cope with any impediments while using the platform. You will simply have to add the folder path in the VPS account to the .js file that will use Node.js and to choose if it will use a shared or a dedicated IP. In addition, our system will also select a port number to access this file and you will be able to find it in the corresponding Control Panel section. With just one mouse click, you’ll be able to check your apps’ output and to discontinue or to restart any Node.js instance running on the VPS server.

that are ordered with the Hepsia Control Panel, so you will be able to take advantage of this platform once your physical server is assembled. Since the Hepsia Control Panel is really simple to work with, you’ll be able to do that without having to deal with any problem, even if you have not used the Node.js platform before, as everything that you will have to do on your end is indicate the folder path to the .js file that will use the platform and the IP that will be used to access the file. The latter can be a dedicated IP or can be shared with other websites. You can create as many instances as you wish on our very powerful servers and each of them can be managed independently – you’ll be able to start, to restart or to discontinue it, to view the output of the application that uses it, etc. You can do this through the intuitive, point ‘n’ click Hepsia Control Panel, so you can take full advantage of the power of the Node.js platform without efforts.
